Jessie Min is a Chinese painter living in Cascais, Portugal. 

Her Chinese name, Min Jie, sounds like the words for “fast” or “quick.” This is apt as Jessie’s artistic output has celebrated pace, completing scores of different works in just over a year.

Her style has undergone a series of rapid transitions from early experimentations with water colours and “acrylic pouring”, from landscapes to now larger more abstract pieces.

Her art, and its innate desire to move forward carries a simple message - to stay open to the world’s wonder, perhaps most perfectly expressed in its colour.
